I have the exact same problem as “Carl in Oakland” described in his review here in Oct ‘24. When I open the app, it (very briefly) switches to Portrait orientation and then shuts down. I’ve tried deleting the app and then reinstalling it, but to no avail. I really want to try this app because it’s got so many great reviews. I hope developer sees this and responds with a fix. BTW, the same thing occurs in dev’s other “A Noble Circle” app. They are both unusable for me.

This dev does lovely things

Did you HAVE to do it though I know I was persistent 😂 anyway I watched flatland and I loved that movie me and my boyfriend casually mentioned how it would be cool that there is a game about it I love how it’s like the movie but also not it’s very good just for the prologue and has a beautiful message at the end I’m definitely buying the game catch my review for that one 😂

I'm sure someone put a lot of work into this app, however when I tap the icon to open it my screen turns white for an instant and then I exit back out to my phone's home screen. Maybe it'll get fixed later. Maybe not.

Amazing preview. I opened it a while after downloading it so see what this was. I was going to check it out for a few seconds but I couldn’t stop. What a refreshing style of game and fascinating concept. Simple but effective gameplay. Brilliant!

This is yet another excellent game from The creator of A Dark Room. I rediscovered the fun of text-based games because of that game.

I love everything this developer releases. The games are so relaxing!

I remember when A Noble Circle was free. I beat it and playing this prologue brought me back to when I first encountered it.

The minimalist art coupled with the simple, but beautiful and elegant music makes this game a pleasant experience. Their other work is really phenomenal and I look forward to playing more (and compensating the great work the team put into it too). Please play this game. It’s really, really good.

I sincerely hope people keep doing indie games.

I remember finding A Dark Room back in high school and honestly, I couldn’t put it down! Then I found out you created another game kind of similar. Once again I played it immediately until I beat it. Now for the third time I’m downloading one of your games and can’t wait to see what you’ve created. 10/10 keep up the good work!

At least needs a Dev that is competent. Gameplay is a bad joke. Story is absolute cringe. Annoying pandering for reviews.

This may be the first time I’ve ever paid for a game before finishing the demo. So far love the style for a casual encounter.

I don't have the money to buy the full game. I'm not old enough to buy anything without my mom's permission. But I'll support you as much as I can. I like the explanation for mating in the game. It made me laugh. :)
